I'm struggling with how to get valid information from 4o. It keeps replying with incorrect data, and I can't seem to get it to change even when I ask it to. I've noticed that it claims to be user-friendly, but it really doesn't feel that way. I'm using the Plus version, and while o3 gives me decent responses, 4o often just outputs random nonsense or false information. It doesn't even seem to check the internet to verify facts. I really need advice on how to phrase my prompts better to get the accurate responses I'm looking for. Any tips?

If you want accurate information, make sure to ask it to use its web tool and specify what sources to check. Just relying on its training data usually doesn't cut it for anything that's not coding-related.
I totally get where you're coming from! I find that sometimes just asking it to provide sources can help, but make sure those sources are credible. It might help with the accuracy.
Yeah, I agree! It’s essential to push for reliable sources to get better responses.
