I'm trying to build a PC for my dad using some spare parts, but I'm hitting a wall. The setup includes a Prime B460M-A motherboard, an Intel i5 10600K CPU, and I'm hooking up a GTX 1070 for graphics, despite the motherboard having integrated graphics. There's also 32GB of RAM divided into 4 sticks of 8GB each from different retailers and a brand new power supply. Unfortunately, the PC shows no signs of life at all – no lights, no sounds, nothing. I would really appreciate any help or troubleshooting tips!

I had a similar issue with my build – no power at all was so frustrating! Turns out, my power supply was faulty. If possible, take it to a shop with a real PSU tester instead of just using the wire method, as that can be unreliable. It's worth a shot if you're not getting any response.
First off, try unplugging the GTX 1070 and connect the display directly to the motherboard to see if you can get any output from the integrated graphics. Also, make sure to clear the CMOS by removing the battery or using the jumper. Sometimes that helps kick things back into gear!
Have you checked the power supply? If you’ve never used it before or it's new, it could still be an issue. If you can, try it out in another PC, or use a different PSU in this build to rule it out. Since there's absolutely no response at all, this could be where the problem lies.
It's actually a brand new power supply, but I’ll definitely check if it’s the cause!
I removed the GPU and connected to the motherboard, but still nothing's happening. No power is flowing. Thanks for the suggestion, though!
