I'm having a frustrating issue with my PC where the CPU is overheating, and I'm at a loss for the cause. I've already replaced the cooler with a SE-903-SD model, and my setup includes an RTX 3060, a B560 Pro AX motherboard, an i5 11400F processor, and 32GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM. I really could use some guidance on troubleshooting this overheating problem!

First off, make sure your PC is sitting on a flat surface and that nothing is blocking the cooling vents. Good airflow is crucial to keeping things cool!
Have you checked the thermal paste? Sometimes, simply renewing the thermal paste on the CPU can make a big difference in cooling efficiency!
Yeah, I replaced the whole CPU cooler just yesterday.
Just a heads up, overheating issues can sometimes stem from power supply problems. If you have a spare power supply, try swapping it out to see if that's causing any shutdowns. Also, you could boot from a Linux live USB and see if the system stays stable there.
What exactly is overheating? Like, is it definitely the CPU or is it possible the GPU is causing issues too? Just trying to narrow things down.
It's definitely the CPU that's overheating.
Could you share a picture of your case with the side panel removed? It might help diagnose any airflow or installation issues.
Sure! Here’s a photo of my setup: https://preview.redd.it/z3ck93j1le6f1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ca29d44d74df8bf9086286558a4f913592cc0ad3
I think the RAM may be a factor too. You might want to try rotating it 180° to see if that helps!
