Need Help Picking a PSU for a GPU Upgrade

Hey everyone! I'm trying to upgrade my kid's old desktop for some light gaming. The current specs are a Pentium G4560, 32GB DDR4, an Asus Prime B250M-A motherboard, and an EVGA 430W 80 Plus PSU (non-modular) inside a Zalman Z5 case. I recently bought an XFX RX 590 Fatboy for it, but it needs both an 8-pin and a 6-pin power connector. The problem is that the EVGA PSU only has one 8-pin connector. Can anyone recommend a compatible PSU? I'd like to keep it around $60 if possible. Thanks a lot!

Just a quick tip: 8-pin connectors often come as 6 + 2 pin. If yours are detachable, you can remove the two extra pins. Just keep in mind, though, you still need another 6-pin for your GPU, so you might need a new PSU regardless!

Thanks for the insight! I realize that even with the detachable pins, I'm still short one connector since I need both an 8-pin and a 6-pin for the GPU.

I’d recommend the MSI MAG A650BN as a good budget option. It should meet your needs without breaking the bank!

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll definitely check out the MSI MAG A650BN further.
