Which PSU Should I Choose for My Build?

I recently had an issue with my PSU exploding, so I need to replace it quickly. My current build includes an Asus ROG Z690-E motherboard, an Intel i5 12600k processor, and an AMD RX 7700 XT graphics card. After some research, I've narrowed it down to three options: the Asus ROG Strix 750W Gold Certified PSU, the Asus TUF 750W Gold Certified PSU, and the Adata XPG Core Reactor II 750W. They're all around the same price, but since I'm a big Asus fan, I want to know which one has better components and overall performance.

Any of these PSUs should work well since they’re all gold certified, which is great. If you’re leaning towards Asus as a brand you like, I’d say the ROG Strix Gold is a solid choice. However, if you’re open to alternatives, check out the Corsair RM750 or Be Quiet! POWER ZONE 2—both are highly rated too! But among your options, I’d personally choose the Adata for its price and performance.

Since you're an Asus fan, I'd recommend going with the ROG Strix Gold. It has a reliable reputation, but make sure to check if the newer Strix Gold Aura version is available, as it might have better features.

Just a heads up, the Aura version is indeed more recent and is worth looking into if you want the latest tech!

Overall, they’re all decent options. That said, I’d pick the Adata as well, but honestly, any of them should get the job done. Just double-check if there are any significant price differences before deciding!

What about Seasonic PSUs? They’re usually top-tier and worth considering if you find any that fit your budget!

You’re looking at some solid options! Out of the three, the Adata XPG seems like the best choice. It's competitively priced and has excellent reviews. The Strix is great too, but some say it's starting to feel a bit outdated. If you can find it at a good price, grab the Adata!
