I'm putting together a new PC and could really use some advice on what power supply unit (PSU) to choose. I'm considering an 850W because it seems sufficient, but I'm also unsure if I might need more power, especially since I plan to overclock both the GPU and CPU. Here's what I'm working with: I've got an Intel i7-14700KF, an RTX 5070 Ti, an MSI Z790 Tomahawk Wifi motherboard, an Arctic Liquid Freezer III 280mm cooler, a Lexar NM790 2TB SSD, and 2x32GB DDR5 6400MHz RAM. What would you recommend?

If you're just gaming, a 750W should be plenty. But if you're planning to push your setup with overclocking, I'd suggest going for an 850W or even 1000W to leave some headroom, especially for future upgrades.
You might want to consider a PSU like the Corsair RM850x or the Seasonic Focus GX-850. They’re solid choices that provide good efficiency and reliability for your build.
Definitely check for ATX 3.1 compatibility too, especially for the newer GPUs!
Honestly, if you're on a budget, a well-rated 700W PSU can work, especially with ATX3.1 features. But for future-proofing, 850W would be better. Don't forget to check the wattage requirements on your GPU manual too!
True, if you're really stressing both GPU and CPU, having extra wattage is a smart move. It makes a difference in stability!
