Hey everyone, I'm building my first PC in a while and I'm running into a problem. I've put together an Asus TUF B650M Plus WiFi motherboard with a Ryzen 7 6700X CPU. When I power it on, the fans start running and the RAM lights up, but I'm not getting any video output. I'm trying to use the integrated Radeon graphics since I haven't bought a dedicated GPU yet.
I know my monitor and HDMI cable work because they function with my laptop. I've experimented with different RAM configurations and even removed the SSD, but nothing has changed. I'm not seeing any Q-LED diagnostic lights on the motherboard either.
What's my next step to troubleshoot this?

Have you tried updating the BIOS? Sometimes a fresh motherboard might require the latest updates to recognize new CPUs properly. If it's an option, that could solve your issue!
Did you make sure to reseat the CPU? It might be a simple oversight, and sometimes the CPU just doesn't connect properly on the first try. It's worth giving it another look!
I checked the manual and realized I had forgotten to connect the 8-pin CPU power cable. It didn’t exist the last time I built a computer! Huge oversight on my part.
Glad you caught that! Definitely give it another go and see if that helps with the video output.
I hadn't thought of that! I've heard DDR5 can take a while to train when it's new. I'm going to let it sit and see if that helps.
