Are Microsoft 365 and SharePoint experiencing an outage in Central and East US?

Is anyone else seeing problems with Microsoft 365 services in the Central or East US regions? SharePoint home pages load, but files won't open or appear, and OneDrive seems affected too. Some users are also unable to access Exchange Online mail through Outlook on the web or the native iOS Mail app, while others have no problems at all. There's a noticeable spike in outage reports, and the issue appears to affect some government tenants as well.

The problem isn’t limited to one geographic area. We’re seeing it on the West Coast and in a government tenant too, while users in Canada and New Zealand report that everything is fine. That sounds like a regional or tenant-specific rollout.

We’ve been seeing intermittent problems for several hours. Some users can’t access mail through either Outlook on the web or the iOS Mail app, while others are working normally. There’s also an incident showing in the admin center now.

This appears to be a broader Microsoft 365 service degradation rather than just SharePoint. The reported Exchange issue involves users being unable to send or receive new mail through the native iOS Mail app, and an official incident has been posted for affected government tenants.

That matches what we’re seeing: the affected government tenant has problems, but another tenant in the same general area is working normally.

SharePoint and OneDrive file links are failing with a broken-cloud or webpage-unavailable error, but files can still open through the desktop Office applications. It looks more like a service-side issue than an internal network problem.
