I'm planning a new PC build in the Montech SKY 3, which comes with three fans: two intake fans and one rear exhaust fan. I'll be using a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and an RX 9070 XT, and I'm wondering whether the included fan setup will provide enough airflow and cooling. I'm not using an AIO cooler. Should I add more fans immediately, or can I start with the stock configuration and upgrade later if temperatures are high?

Three fans are generally enough for this build, although the ideal layout depends on your cooler, room temperature, and the exact fan positions. Extra fans usually provide diminishing returns once you already have a couple of intakes and a rear exhaust. Just make sure the airflow direction is correct and keep an eye on temperatures during longer gaming sessions.
That setup should be perfectly fine to start with, especially with two fans mounted below the graphics card as intake and one at the rear as exhaust. Monitor your CPU and GPU temperatures while gaming before buying more fans. If temperatures are high, increasing the fan curve may be enough; otherwise, you can add one or two fans later.
For the SKY 3, using the two bottom fans directly under the GPU is a good airflow arrangement. Additional side fans are mostly optional unless you want lower temperatures, less fan noise, or a more balanced look. Three fans should handle this hardware reasonably well with a normal air cooler.
I was considering adding two side fans in the future, but it’s good to know they aren’t essential right away.
