I'm planning my first gaming PC and would appreciate build recommendations. I'm in the United States, not near a Micro Center, and want to use only new parts. An all-white aesthetic would be nice, but performance matters more, so I'm fine with a different color if white components cost significantly more. I don't have any specific games in mind—I'm mainly looking for the strongest overall gaming performance possible within a $1,250–$1,350 budget.

One possible build comes in around $1,245: a Ryzen 7 5700X, B550 Wi-Fi motherboard, 32GB of DDR4 memory, a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, a Radeon RX 9060 XT with 16GB of VRAM, a Montech XR case, and a 750W fully modular Gold-rated power supply. It should provide strong 1080p and solid 1440p gaming performance. The case and some components may be available in white, but choosing black parts generally gives better value. A newer AM5 platform could offer a better upgrade path, so it would also be worth comparing prices before ordering.
Would it be worth replacing the Ryzen 7 5700X with a 5500X3D from an overseas marketplace to get better gaming performance, or is sticking with standard retailers safer for a first build?
