Best New Graphics Card for €300–€350 at 1080p?

I'm looking for a new graphics card costing roughly €300–€350. My current system has a Ryzen 5 5600, a GeForce GTX 1060 6GB, and a 100Hz 1080p monitor. I'd like a major upgrade and am interested in features such as DLSS, ray tracing, frame generation, FSR, AFMF, RSR, and Anti-Lag 2.0. I'd prefer to buy new from Amazon if possible, but I'm not sure which card offers the best value in this price range. Any recommendations?

For a new purchase, the Intel Arc B580 is definitely worth checking. It offers strong performance for the price, 12GB of VRAM, XeSS support, and modern upscaling and frame-generation features. It may be a better long-term choice than an 8GB card, although checking game compatibility and enabling Resizable BAR is important.

The supposed “9060 XT” recommendation sounds like an AI-generated mistake, so I wouldn’t base your purchase on that. Since you specifically want DLSS and frame generation and would rather buy new, an RTX 4060 around €300–€350 would be a straightforward match for your Ryzen 5 5600. If you care more about traditional performance and are happy with AMD’s FSR and AFMF instead, an RX 6750 XT is also worth looking for. Either option would be a substantial upgrade over the GTX 1060.

The Intel Arc B580 is another option in that price range. It can perform around the RTX 4060 Ti level in some games, supports Intel’s XeSS upscaling, and offers modern frame-generation features. Just make sure your motherboard has Resizable BAR enabled, since Arc cards benefit from it.

No single card will provide every feature listed. DLSS is Nvidia-specific, while AFMF, RSR, and Anti-Lag 2 are AMD technologies, so you’ll need to decide which features matter most.

That budget may be tight for a brand-new card with all of those features, but it’s a solid range for the used market. You might find an RTX 3080 for DLSS, an RX 6800 XT for stronger raster performance and FSR, or possibly an RTX 5060 for frame generation. I’m skeptical that a used 16GB RX 9060 XT would usually fit within €300–€350. An 8GB model could be more realistic, though VRAM capacity is worth considering for newer games.

Would an 8GB card be enough for 1080p gaming, or should I prioritize a 12GB or 16GB model?
