I want to build a new gaming PC that can play demanding games like Black Myth: Wukong at decent settings, but my total budget is around 5,000 HKD, or roughly 630 USD. If you specifically want smooth 1440p performance, cards such as the RX 9070 or RX 9070 XT would be much more appropriate, but they would cost close to or more than your entire budget in Hong Kong. You would still need money for every other component, so saving up is necessary.
Used parts are your most realistic route. Something built around a Ryzen 5 5600X or Core i5-10400F, 16GB of RAM, and a used RX 6700 XT could provide a decent 1080p experience. Just check the condition of the parts carefully and avoid cutting corners on the power supply.
A budget around 630 USD can work for an entry-level used 1080p PC, but Black Myth: Wukong is especially demanding. You may need to lower settings and use upscaling, and it won’t deliver the kind of mid-high-end experience you’re hoping for. A used or refurbished prebuilt could be worth checking later.
