Can’t Uninstall Any Apps on iOS 27 Beta

My iPhone is running iOS 27, and I suddenly can't uninstall any apps at all. I've tried removing several different apps, but none of them will delete. Is there a setting or troubleshooting step that might fix this, or should I update to the newest beta and wait for a later release?

Try a force restart before doing anything more complicated: quickly press and release Volume Up, quickly press and release Volume Down, then hold the side button until the Apple logo appears. The button sequence is the standard force-restart procedure and isn’t specific to the beta.

What’s the reason for pressing Volume Up and then Volume Down? I usually press Volume Up together with the side button, so I wanted to check the difference.

Since iOS 27 is still in beta, this could simply be a beta bug. Try installing the latest available beta first, then restart the phone and check whether app deletion works again.

I’m currently using beta 4, and I know there’s a newer update available. I’ll try updating and see whether that fixes it.
