I'm planning to upgrade my PC with a Ryzen 5 9600X and an RX 9060 XT. My current system has 16 GB of DDR4-3200 memory, and I'd like to keep costs down if possible. Can I reuse my existing RAM, or will I need to move to DDR5 and buy a new motherboard as well?

The Ryzen 5 9600X uses the AM5 platform, and AM5 motherboards require DDR5 memory. Your DDR4 kit cannot be reused with that CPU, so the upgrade would require a new motherboard and DDR5 RAM in addition to the processor.
Before choosing a CPU, check what you have now and which motherboard you’re using. A 5700X3D can be a strong option for 1080p gaming on an existing AM4 system, while the 9600X is a full platform upgrade because it needs AM5 and DDR5.
