I'm facing a major problem with my recent order for a MacBook Air. This morning, I placed the order using Apple Pay and received a confirmation email, plus the payment was taken from my account. However, just three hours later, I got a notification saying my payment method was invalid and needed verification.
The issue is that the last few digits of the card mentioned in the email aren't from any card that I own. I went ahead and removed that card from my Apple Wallet, but my bank is still notifying me about pending payment attempts. Thankfully, my monthly spending limit has prevented any further charges, but the payment has already been deducted and my order status is still unconfirmed.
Both Apple and my bank's support are closed today, so I'm pretty worried. Can anyone advise on how to fix this and what steps I should take to get a refund for the initial charge?
