I recently acquired a Samsung BD-E8300 Blu-ray recorder that contains rare recordings I want to preserve. I'm not currently able to move the device elsewhere, and I haven't found a way to copy the stored content to a USB drive. Is USB transfer supported on this model, and are there any restrictions on exporting the recordings?

The exact model matters because Samsung released several Blu-ray players and recorders with different features. The BD-E8300 has built-in storage, but USB export may be limited to certain recordings or supported external drives. Some content can also be protected against copying, so a direct transfer may not be possible for everything.
The model is the BD-E8300. I’ll check its manual for the supported USB drive and recording-export options.
