How Can I Be Unreachable for a Week Without Removing My SIM Card?

I need a full week of peace and quiet without removing my SIM card or individually blocking anyone. I don't want calls or messages from family or anyone else to reach me during that time. Is there a phone setting that can make me completely unreachable temporarily, and can I restore everything easily afterward?

Airplane Mode is the simplest option. It disconnects the phone from the mobile network, so calls and texts won’t come through. You can turn Wi-Fi back on separately if you still want internet access.

Try Do Not Disturb or Focus mode. On many phones, you can set it to allow calls from nobody and silence all notifications for a specific period. Just keep in mind that calls and messages may still arrive in the background and appear once you disable it.

Turning the phone off completely also works, but Airplane Mode is more convenient if you still want to use the device for offline apps, Wi-Fi, or other functions.

On Android phones, check Settings for SIM Manager or SIMs. Some models let you disable the SIM with a switch, which stops cellular calls and texts without physically removing the card. Turn it back on when the week is over.
