I was creating my first AWS account and hadn't fully completed onboarding. While checking pricing, I switched from the paid option back to the free option, and the account was immediately marked as suspended.
Now I can't reach support. Choosing "Create a case using the console" signs me in, but the console has no normal Support Center. The Support Center options redirect me to the public support form, while "View Cases" shows no cases and sends me back to the same page when I try to create one.
The public form offers either opening a case in the console or creating one without signing in. The first option causes the same redirect loop, and the second only sends an automated email linking to troubleshooting instructions that don't resolve the suspension. Has anyone found a reliable way to reach the account verification or support team in this situation without creating another account?

This looks like a pre-onboarding verification lock, so regular console support may not be enabled yet. The practical path is to keep using the account-support process without signing in and describe the redirect loop explicitly, including that the account was suspended before signup was completed. There may not be an immediate self-service fix, since the verification team has to review the account manually.
For an account that was suspended before onboarding was finished, this is often an automated identity, payment, or fraud-verification check rather than something you intentionally did. Normally the unsigned account-support form is the right route, with “Account” selected and the suspension explained clearly. Unfortunately, it sounds like that form is only offering the same console workflow in your case.

That’s the exact problem: the unsigned form only returns two choices. One sends me to the console, where I have no cases and get redirected again, and the other sends an automated response with instructions that don’t fix the account.
