I'm putting together a PC with an RX 9060 XT 16GB, Ryzen 7 5700X, Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite AX V2 motherboard, 32GB of DDR4-3200 memory, a WD_BLACK SN7100 1TB M.2 drive, a 500GB Kingston SSD, a 1TB Toshiba hard drive, a Peerless Assassin CPU cooler, and five RGB case fans. I already bought an MSI MAG A650GLS 650W 80+ Gold power supply. Several people told me it should be sufficient, but a technician said I should have bought a 750W unit instead. Is 650W enough for this system, or should I replace it?

There’s no harm in choosing 750W if you’re planning a much more powerful future graphics card, but it isn’t necessary for the current parts. A 750W recommendation may simply be a general safety margin rather than a real requirement. I’d keep the 650W unless you already know you’ll upgrade to a substantially higher-power GPU.
650W should be more than enough for this build. Rough estimates put the GPU around 160–200W, the CPU around 65–100W under heavy load, and the rest of the system at roughly another 100W or so. Even allowing extra room for transient spikes, you should still have plenty of headroom with a decent modern ATX 3.x power supply like this one.
