I'm looking for a video editor on Fedora and am considering Kdenlive. I know it's developed by KDE, and I plan to install the version offered through KDE Discover, but I have an uneasy feeling that it may not be safe. Is there any known security concern with Kdenlive, or is installing it through the official software sources generally trustworthy?
