I'm deciding between an Intel B580 for €260 and an 8GB Radeon RX 9060 XT for €291. My system uses a Ryzen 7 5800X, and I run Linux Mint, so reliable driver support is important to me. I’d choose the RX 9060 XT. The B580 offers decent value, but Intel’s graphics drivers still seem less consistent, particularly on Linux. Radeon support is generally the safer choice for a gaming-focused Linux system, and the extra €31 is fairly small if it buys you fewer compatibility headaches.
At 1080p, both cards should be capable, but I’d avoid settling for an 8GB card if you can save for a model with more VRAM. Newer games are increasingly demanding, so extra memory could matter more over time. Between these two exact deals, though, the 9060 XT is the safer buy.
