I'm planning to buy a gaming PC and would like feedback on whether this $1,950 build offers good value. My main goal is maintaining around 250 FPS for the 1% lows in Counter-Strike 2 at 1080p using a 1280×960 resolution. The parts are: Ryzen 7 7800X3D, RTX 5070 12GB, Netac Z RGB 32GB (2×16GB) DDR5, MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk WiFi, DeepCool AK620 Digital SE, be quiet! Pure Power 12 M 750W, and either a Phanteks XT Pro Ultra or Montech AIR 903 Max case. I'm not sure whether anything should be swapped, and the listed price is about $1,950. An SSD was not included in the parts list. I don't have access to a Micro Center.

I’d look for a better-priced power supply if possible and choose a reputable 1TB or 2TB NVMe SSD rather than leaving storage as an afterthought. The 750W unit is adequate, but comparing deals could free up money for a stronger graphics card. The RX 9070 XT is generally the more attractive value option if its price is close.
The build should handle your target well, especially with the 7800X3D. However, the RX 9070 XT may offer better performance for the money than the RTX 5070, so it’s worth checking local pricing before committing. Also make sure an SSD is included, since it isn’t listed here.
For competitive CS2 at 1080p, the 7800X3D is the important part and should provide very high frame rates. A similar system can exceed 600 FPS in some 1440p matches, although 1% lows depend on the map, settings, smoke effects, background programs, and server conditions. No hardware guarantee can ensure a constant 250 FPS in every situation.
