Is this $2,100 Ryzen 5 7500F and RTX 5070 build a good choice for 1440p gaming?

I'm considering a gaming PC for 1440p with a Ryzen 5 7500F, GeForce RTX 5070, 32GB of DDR5-6000 memory, an AM5 B850 motherboard, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The total price is about $2,100, and I'm located in Russia, where PC hardware generally costs around 20% more than in the United States. Does this seem like a reasonable deal, and would you change any of the components?

I’d consider upgrading the processor to a Ryzen 5 7600X if it’s only slightly more expensive where you live. It offers somewhat better gaming performance and should pair well with the RTX 5070.

For US pricing, this would be poor value. Around that budget, you can sometimes find systems with an RTX 5070 Ti or build around a Radeon RX 9070 XT, which offers more VRAM and strong 1440p performance. Russian pricing changes the comparison quite a bit, though, so local availability matters.

At US prices, a build in this range might target a Ryzen 7 7800X3D with an RX 9070 or 9070 XT. However, if hardware costs about 20% more in Russia, the proposed system may be much harder to beat locally.

The parts are generally balanced for 1440p gaming, and the 7500F is capable enough for the graphics card. The main question is whether this is a prebuilt and what case, power supply, SSD model, and cooling it includes. Those details can make a big difference at this price.
