I'm planning my first gaming PC and would like feedback on the parts and prices. I'll probably buy most of them around Black Friday or Christmas, so I'm hoping some prices will drop. The current parts are an RX 9060 XT 16GB for €470, Ryzen 5 7600 for €180, ASRock B650M-HDV/M.2 motherboard for €99, Crucial 16GB DDR5-5600 as a single stick for about €220, Crucial E100 1TB M.2 SSD for €150, Cooler Master MWE Gold 650 V3 650W PSU for €50, Cooler Master CMP 320 case for about €67, and the included AMD Wraith Stealth cooler. I'll mainly play competitive multiplayer games while using Discord. Is 16GB enough, and would DDR4 with 32GB be a better choice? Are any of these Dutch prices unusually high?

I’d replace the Crucial E100. It uses slower, less durable QLC flash and isn’t a great value at €150. A better 1TB NVMe drive, such as the Kioxia Exceria Plus G3 or another reputable TLC-based model, should offer better speed and endurance. €150 also seems high for a 1TB SSD, so it’s worth waiting for a sale.
For this platform, DDR4 isn’t an option—the Ryzen 5 7600 and B650 motherboard require DDR5. I’d strongly recommend a matched 2x16GB DDR5 kit rather than one 16GB stick. Dual-channel memory performs better, and 32GB gives you more room for Discord, browsers, and newer games. Look for a reasonably priced DDR5-6000 kit if the price difference is small. Also, €220 for 16GB is far too expensive, so that’s the first price I’d reconsider.
Thanks! I was thinking of buying one stick so I could add another later, but I’ll compare the price of a 2x16GB kit instead.
