I'm putting together my first PC and would appreciate some advice before buying. The current parts list is a Ryzen 7 9700X, MSI PRO B850 GAMING PLUS WIFI motherboard, 32GB of DDR5-6000 RAM, an RX 9060 XT 16GB graphics card, a 1TB SSD, DeepCool PX750G 750W power supply, DeepCool AK620 air cooler, and a DeepCool CH510 case. Are these parts well balanced, or would it make more sense to use a cheaper CPU and motherboard so I can upgrade to a stronger graphics card?

I’d definitely consider the 7700 or 7700X instead of the 9700X. For gaming, the performance difference is generally too small to justify the extra cost, and putting that money into the GPU will have a much bigger impact on frame rates. A 9070-class card would make the overall system more balanced.
The build should work, but some of the budget could be shifted toward the graphics card. A Ryzen 7 7700 or 7700X would give up very little noticeable gaming performance while freeing enough money for a stronger GPU such as an RX 9070 or 9070 GRE. You could also choose a less expensive B650 board, use similarly specified but cheaper DDR5-6000 memory, and replace the AK620 with a Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE. Those changes shouldn’t meaningfully compromise the build.
I’m considering a Ryzen 7 7700X with a B650 motherboard and an RX 9070 XT instead. The 7700X would also come with its own cooler, so that combination may make more sense. I can get the 32GB RAM kit from China for about $190 including delivery.
That’s the same advice I’ve been getting, so I’m changing a few parts in my list before placing the order.
