I'm seeing a strange mouse stuttering issue only when using KDE Plasma. I tested recent Kubuntu and Fedora KDE releases, and the cursor movement on my external monitor feels choppy. My laptop display runs at 120 Hz, while the external monitor runs at 60 Hz. I've already installed the latest NVIDIA drivers, but that didn't help. The problem doesn't occur in Cinnamon on Linux Mint or in GNOME on Fedora and Ubuntu. Has anyone found a fix or workaround? I'd really like to continue using KDE Plasma.

This may be related to KDE handling displays with different refresh rates. A 120 Hz laptop panel paired with a 60 Hz external monitor can sometimes cause cursor or compositor stutter, especially with certain NVIDIA and display-server configurations. Try testing the external monitor alone, setting both displays to the same refresh rate temporarily, and switching between Wayland and X11 in the login session. If the issue persists, sharing your display configuration and session type would help narrow it down.
