My PC was running normally while I was playing Minecraft when it suddenly froze and the monitor lost its signal. Since then, the computer powers on and the fans spin, but there is no display during startup or in the operating system. The keyboard lights up, although the mouse does not always do so.
The system has a Ryzen 5 5500GT, a Zotac RTX 5050 Twin Edge, an ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 motherboard, 32GB of DDR4-3200 memory using two 16GB sticks, and a Cooler Master MWE V3 550W 80+ Bronze power supply. The monitor is an AOC 24G4E 180Hz model.
So far, I have cleared the CMOS, tested each RAM stick individually in different slots, removed the graphics card and tried the CPU's integrated graphics, and tested multiple DisplayPort and other display cables. I also replaced the power supply, but the problem remained.
Could the motherboard fail in a way that causes this exact behavior? What component or diagnostic step would you try next before replacing parts?

Since the power supply has already been replaced and the RAM, CMOS, cables, and integrated graphics have been tested, the next practical step is testing the board outside the case with only the CPU, one memory stick, and the power connections attached. If it still produces no POST or diagnostic beeps in that minimal setup, the motherboard becomes a strong replacement candidate, but a CPU fault should not be ruled out completely.
If possible, test with another known-good graphics card, even temporarily. That would help rule out a graphics-card failure, although the integrated-graphics test already makes the GPU less likely. Also make sure the monitor cable is connected to the motherboard video output when the dedicated card is removed.
The motherboard is a reasonable suspect, especially since the system still has no display with the dedicated GPU removed and the integrated graphics tested. Before replacing it, use a PCIe POST diagnostic card if you can borrow one. It can show where the startup process is stopping. This board does not have a built-in debug display, so that kind of tool may help narrow down whether the failure involves the CPU, memory, graphics initialization, or the board itself.
Connect a small motherboard speaker to the SPK_CI1 header near the front-panel connectors and listen for beep codes during startup. The pattern may identify a memory, CPU, or graphics initialization problem. If there are no beeps at all, despite the speaker being connected correctly, that would make the motherboard or power delivery more suspicious, though it is not absolute proof that the board has failed.

I do not currently have another graphics card available, so I may need to rely on diagnostic testing or take the system to a shop for a known-good part.
