I'm putting together a PC using parts from my uncle, but the current graphics card isn't suitable for my setup. It doesn't seem to have a port that connects to my monitor, so I'm planning to upgrade. I'm mainly looking for smooth 1080p gaming and would like to stay around $300–$350, though I'm open to other recommendations.

RAM: 64GB DDR4
PSU: EVGA 650W 80+ Gold
Current GPU: NVIDIA T600
I'm considering the RX 7600 and RX 6700 XT. Which would be the better choice for this build?

If the RX 7600 and RX 6700 XT cost about the same, I’d choose the RX 6700 XT. It generally offers stronger gaming performance and has 12GB of VRAM, which gives it more room for newer games. Your 650W power supply should be suitable for it.
An Intel Arc B580 could also be worth considering if you can find one in your budget. Just keep in mind that Intel cards can place a bit more load on the CPU at 1080p, so the Ryzen 5 5600X may limit performance in some games.
The Ryzen 5 5600X paired with an RX 6700 XT is a solid combination. At 1080p, the CPU will be doing a lot of the work, but the system should still handle modern games very well. A used RTX 3060 12GB is another reasonable alternative if you prefer Nvidia features or need CUDA support.
A used RTX 3070 is another good option if you’re comfortable buying secondhand. They often show up around this price and offer better ray-tracing support than the AMD cards. You might occasionally find a 3070 Ti or even an RTX 3080, though those can use more power and may be harder to find within budget.
One thing I’m confused about is that my T600’s ports don’t fit my monitor cables. They look like capital-D-shaped connectors rather than normal HDMI or DisplayPort.
