I'm building a PC from parts my uncle gave me and currently have an NVIDIA T600, but I want to upgrade for 1080p gaming. I'm considering an RX 7600 or RX 6700 XT and would like to stay around $300–$350, though I'm open to other recommendations. The system has a Ryzen 5 5600X, 64GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 650W 80+ Gold EVGA power supply. Also, my current graphics card doesn't seem to have ports that fit my regular DisplayPort or HDMI cables. What would be the best upgrade?

The RX 6700 XT is a good match for the Ryzen 5 5600X. At 1080p, the CPU may limit performance in some games, but the combination should still run modern titles very well. If you find one at a good price, it would be my pick over the RX 7600.
If the RX 7600 and RX 6700 XT cost about the same, I’d choose the RX 6700 XT. It generally offers stronger gaming performance and has 12GB of VRAM, which gives it more room for newer games. Your 650W power supply should be sufficient.
An Intel Arc B580 is another option in that price range and offers strong performance for the money, although Intel cards can place more CPU overhead on the system at 1080p. Make sure the motherboard has current BIOS and resizable BAR support enabled.
Used NVIDIA RTX 3070 cards can sometimes be found around your budget. They’re worth considering if you care about ray tracing or DLSS, though the 8GB of VRAM is less appealing for long-term use than the 6700 XT’s 12GB. A used 3070 Ti or RTX 3080 would be even faster if you find a reliable deal, but check the card’s condition and power requirements carefully.
The T600 probably uses mini-DisplayPort connectors rather than full-size DisplayPort. You may only need a mini-DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort cable or adapter instead of replacing the card immediately.
