A couple of years back, I took a job but left after only two months to return to my old employer. I'm wondering if I should list that brief job on my resume. Would it look bad if I include it, or would it be worse to leave it out?

I typically don’t include anything under a year unless there's a specific experience or keyword I want to highlight. So in your case, it might be best to skip it altogether.
Did anything noteworthy happen during those two months? If not, it's probably better to leave it out.
I wouldn't include it. You can simplify your resume by just listing years instead of specific months. No need to draw attention to a short job unless you really need to.
It really depends on whether employers will actually call to check your employment dates. Personally, I'd leave that two-month stint off since you returned to your previous job. I've had similar experiences and it never seemed to be an issue for me.
Thanks for your input!
Two months doesn't really matter much; it's just a small gap while you were exploring your options. I say leave it off.
Nope, I’d say don’t include it. It won't help your case at all.

I actually managed to annoy quite a few people there, so yeah, probably best to skip it.
