Hey everyone! I know this might be a bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask since many of you are working from home and could have some solid recommendations. I'm really in need of a new office chair that can help alleviate my lower back pain. I recently hurt my back while moving, and I know I need a chair that provides better support for those days when standing isn't an option anymore.

Check out some refurbished options like the Herman Miller Aeron, Steelcase Leap, and Haworth Fern. I'm a huge fan of the HM Aeron for work, but I kind of wish I had a different chair for gaming and relaxing too. Just be wary of those cheap $200 chairs; they usually aren’t great for your back.
If a $1,000 chair isn’t in your budget, I recommend the Alera Elusion high back mesh chair. It's just $200 on Amazon and surprisingly durable. I've had mine for 11 years without losing any comfort. The lumbar support is decent, although not adjustable, but if you can swing it, an HM Aeron with adjustable support is definitely worth it.
Definitely consider the Aeron or Embody from Herman Miller, as well as the Steelcase Leap and Haworth Fern. I have the Fern at the office and Embody at home. Some days I think I should've just gone for the Aeron, but overall, they're all solid chairs.
I say go for an exercise ball instead! It really helps strengthen your back and core muscles while you're sitting. It's a gentle way to rehabilitate your back.
