I recently won an RTX 5070, but it is too large for my Acer Nitro N50-620 case. I already have an i7-11700F, two DDR4 memory modules, and an SSD, and I would like to move the components into a larger case with a suitable power supply. I have heard that the Nitro's motherboard may not fit standard cases, so I am unsure whether I need a new motherboard as well. I am located in France.

The power supply is the more important compatibility check. Choose a quality unit with enough capacity and the correct PCIe power connectors for the RTX 5070, rather than assuming the original Acer supply can be reused. Also confirm the card’s length and thickness against the new case’s GPU clearance.
Another option is to sell the Acer system and build or buy a newer platform around the RTX 5070. The i7-11700F is already the fastest processor on its socket, so upgrading to a newer Intel or AMD platform would provide a better long-term upgrade path. If you keep the 11700F, verify the motherboard, case, front-panel connectors, and PSU compatibility before ordering parts.
The N50-620 motherboard should be usable in a different case because its mounting holes reportedly follow a fairly standard layout. Before buying, compare the standoff positions carefully and be prepared to install or move standoffs. The front-panel connectors may still use Acer-specific wiring, so check those before choosing a case.
“Alimentation” here means the power supply unit. Since the computer is in France, check local availability and make sure the replacement PSU is a standard ATX model if the new case requires one.
