I'm currently using a Ryzen 5 5600G with an Intel Arc B570 graphics card and 32GB of RAM. In CS2, my FPS sometimes drops to around 110–130 even though I'm using a 165Hz monitor. I'd like to keep the frame rate consistently above 165 FPS. Should I upgrade the CPU, replace the GPU, or consider a different platform?

A Ryzen 5 5600X is compatible and a little faster, but it probably isn’t a large enough upgrade to guarantee staying above 165 FPS. I’d only choose it if you can get one very cheaply.
The 5800X3D is the fastest realistic AM4 upgrade and would also be more useful if you play other games. For CS2 alone, though, the 5700X3D should be the more sensible purchase. Also check whether your GPU usage is near 100% during the drops, since lowering graphics settings won’t fix a CPU bottleneck.
For a drop-in AM4 upgrade, the Ryzen 7 5700X3D is probably the best value. Its extra 3D V-Cache can noticeably improve CS2’s average and especially 1% low FPS compared with the 5600G. Check that your motherboard BIOS supports it before installing.
If you have access to one at a reasonable price, a 5600X3D or 5500X3D could also be a strong CS2-focused upgrade. The 5800X3D is faster, but it usually costs enough that the 5700X3D makes more sense on AM4. A new CPU platform such as a 14600KF with a B760 board is another option, though it costs much more.

I mainly play CS2, so I’m leaning toward the 5700X3D rather than spending extra on the 5800X3D.
