I've been using a GTX 1050 Ti since 2020 and am finally ready to upgrade my PC. I'm aiming for at least 120 FPS in games like Apex Legends and around 60 FPS in more demanding titles such as Forza and Red Dead Redemption 2. My budget is roughly $350. Should I buy a new graphics card or look for a used one?

If you prefer buying new, the options are more limited at roughly $350. Cards such as the RTX 5060, RX 9060, Intel Arc B580, or a slightly more expensive RX 9060 XT could be worth considering. The B580 has 12GB of VRAM, while the 9060 XT has 16GB, but used higher-end cards may provide better performance for the money.
For this budget, a used RTX 3080 could offer excellent performance, especially if you can find one in good condition. It uses quite a bit of power, though, so make sure your power supply and CPU are capable of supporting it.
A used RX 6800 XT is another strong option around this price range, with plenty of VRAM for newer games. If you want to spend less, a used RX 6700 XT should still be a noticeable upgrade from the 1050 Ti.
