I have a budget of around €500 and want a graphics card with at least 12GB of VRAM, partly to prepare for playing Fable when it releases. I'm looking for something that will last several years, similar to how my GTX 1660 Super has held up. I'm most familiar with Nvidia cards, but I'm open to switching to AMD if it offers better value. If €500 is a hard limit, I’d focus on the RX 9060 XT 16GB or look for a discounted or used RX 7900 GRE. If you can add roughly €100–€150, moving up to an RX 9070 would be a significant jump over both cards. Also keep in mind that upgrading your CPU afterward may be important, since pairing a much faster GPU with an older processor could limit the improvement.
For a new card, the Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB is probably the easiest option within budget, usually around €430–€500 depending on the market. If you can stretch your budget, an RX 9070 or 9070 GRE would be a much larger performance upgrade and should last longer.
