What Linux Laptop Brands Offer the Best Warranty and Service?

I'm looking for recommendations on Linux laptops that come with solid warranty coverage and good service policies. I've been a loyal Dell customer for almost 20 years, enjoying their excellent warranty service where they send someone out to fix issues right at my place. I'm currently using an Apple laptop but am considering a switch to Linux. Are there any brands that provide similar high-end, on-site service for their Linux machines? I'm not sure whether Dell still offers the same coverage, especially for their less expensive models, and I'd really prefer a laptop that comes with Linux pre-installed from the manufacturer.

You might want to look into Kubuntu Focus laptops. They have some great specs and specific configurations for Linux, but you'll want to research their warranty terms and customer service quality, as that's really what matters.

Framework seems to be the best option for what you're describing; they are optimized for Linux, but they don’t technically come pre-installed with it. System76 and Tuxedo might also be worth checking out since they come with their own Linux distros pre-installed, but their support might not include on-site repairs. Just a heads up, I haven’t personally dealt with these brands, so I’m relying on what I’ve heard from others.

If you're looking for strong warranty and service, Dell and Lenovo have pretty reliable options for laptops. They often offer warranty packages that include local support, which could be exactly what you need.

Dell has a variety of laptops with Ubuntu pre-installed, and you can customize the warranty options to fit your needs. Just keep in mind these can get pricey! Installing Linux isn't too difficult, though.

That might be true, but I've had mixed experiences with Dell. They don't always offer the top-tier warranty on their budget models, and I've been frustrated with how they handle older hardware repairs. I really want a laptop that works seamlessly with its OS, and I'd prefer not to have to troubleshoot compatibility issues myself.
