So, I'm an elder millennial and I'm hoping to get some advice here. I've got an iPhone 11 that's in good condition, but I no longer have any use for it. There are a couple of issues—first, the lightning port is loose, so I can only charge it using a wireless charger. The bigger problem is that the phone is locked to Xfinity Wireless, and since I switched to T-Mobile with an unpaid balance hanging over my head, they won't unlock it unless I pay that off completely. Honestly, I owe more than the phone is worth, and I'm not too worried about paying the balance. I'm just trying to figure out my options here—should I sell it for parts on Facebook or is there a better route? I tried a cash-for-phones kiosk, but it couldn't connect to the charger. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

You might only get about a buck fifty if you decide to sell it as it is, just a heads up!
Wait, can a carrier actually lock your phone like that? Is it common for them to do this?
You could also think about using it as a spare camera, a music player, or even a streaming device! Just because it's locked doesn't mean it can't be repurposed for other fun stuff.
I know a guy who used to buy locked iPhones off eBay all the time. He’d just pop a different SIM in, call the carrier, and get it unlocked pretty easily. Sometimes you can replace the screen if it’s broken or anything and then flip it for a nice profit!
Is that a genuine screen you’re using, or just an aftermarket one?
Do you even read? The device is locked, remember?
