I've put together a new PC for gaming, 3D modeling, architectural work, and eventually 3D printing. The build uses a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB, MSI B850 Wi-Fi motherboard, 16GB DDR5-6000 CL30 memory, a 1TB Kingston KC3000 NVMe SSD, an 850W Gold fully modular power supply, and a 360mm liquid cooler in an MSI MAG FORGE 320R AIRFLOW case. What do you think of the parts, and are there any weak points or upgrades I should prioritize?

I’d also think about storage. A 1TB SSD is fast, but games, modeling assets, project files, and printer files can fill it quickly. Keeping the KC3000 for the operating system and active projects, then adding a second 1TB or 2TB NVMe drive later, would make the system more practical. Also check the tray CPU’s warranty terms, since tray processors can have different warranty coverage depending on the seller.
The core parts are well matched, and the 850W power supply is plenty for this system. The 7800X3D is excellent for gaming, though it may not be the best value if your work involves heavily multithreaded rendering; a newer Ryzen 9 could be worth considering if productivity is more important than gaming performance. The 360mm AIO is also more cooling than the 7800X3D really needs. A good air cooler or smaller AIO would usually be sufficient, unless you mainly want the look or quieter fan speeds.
The biggest issue is the 16GB of RAM, especially if that’s a single 16GB stick. For gaming alongside modeling, architectural software, and 3D printing work, 32GB should be the minimum, preferably as a 2×16GB DDR5-6000 CL30 kit. Consider 64GB if you’ll work with large scenes or complex projects. The RTX 5070 Ti also makes sense for applications that benefit from CUDA, OptiX, or Nvidia’s rendering tools. A Radeon RX 9070 XT may offer strong gaming value, but Nvidia is probably the safer choice for your mixed workload.

I’ll be using it for modeling, and my brother is an architect, so it needs to handle both gaming and work. I’m also planning to add a 3D printer later.
