Try Harvard’s free CS50 introductory computer science course. It’s a solid starting point for independent learners because it covers core programming and computer science concepts while giving you plenty of directions to explore afterward. Once you finish, you’ll have a better idea whether you prefer web development, AI, security, or another area.
