What website can check PC part compatibility while I plan a custom gaming build?

I'm planning to build my own gaming PC and want an easier way to choose compatible components before buying anything. I'm not looking for a prebuilt computer service—I'd like to select parts such as the CPU, motherboard, graphics card, memory, storage, power supply, and case, then have the site flag compatibility issues and compare prices from different stores. Are there any good tools for this?

Logical Increments is useful if you want suggested builds organized by budget and performance level. It’s less flexible than choosing every part yourself, but it can be a good starting point before fine-tuning the list.

PCPartPicker is the usual go-to for this. You can create a parts list, compare prices from multiple retailers, and it flags many common compatibility problems before you buy.

BuildCores is another nice option. It includes compatibility and pricing information, plus a 3D view that makes it easier to visualize how the components will fit together.
