The Bluetooth connection on my desktop PC seems to be failing because my game controllers disconnect randomly. I'm considering replacing it with a USB Bluetooth adapter, but I'm not sure which type or model to choose. A USB Bluetooth adapter is probably the simplest replacement. Since the PC case has a lot of metal around it, use a short USB extension cable and place the adapter somewhere with a clearer line of sight to the controller. That can help more than plugging the adapter directly into the back of the computer. Before buying one, you could also try updating the existing Bluetooth drivers and moving the adapter away from other USB 3.0 devices.
