I'm based in the UK and may be able to buy a bundle from Micro Center around Christmas. The bundle includes a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 32GB of DDR5 memory, and a motherboard for about £550, but I'm worried prices may rise before then. Are there any UK retailers, or European stores that ship reliably to the UK, offering anything reasonably close? My maximum budget would be roughly £600–£700. I'm upgrading an existing PC, so I'm looking for individual components rather than a prebuilt system.

Scan and Overclockers UK are probably the closest dedicated PC hardware retailers, although both mainly operate online. Overclockers does have physical stores in parts of northern England. CCL and Novatech are also worth checking. Currys has locations everywhere, but its PC component selection is limited and it’s not really comparable to Micro Center. Amazon can sometimes beat specialist retailers on price, but returns and third-party sellers can be inconsistent. I’d avoid relying on eBuyer or second-hand retailers unless you’re comfortable checking the condition and warranty.
A £550 equivalent bundle is extremely difficult to match in the UK. The 7800X3D alone has been around £265 from Amazon, and adding a suitable motherboard and 32GB of DDR5 can bring the total closer to £700 or more. If you find the processor at a good price now, buying the motherboard and memory separately may be your best route.
That seems to be the most realistic option. Buying the three parts separately would come to roughly £700, which is probably about as good as UK pricing gets.
Second-hand shops such as CeX can occasionally have decent prices, but stock is unpredictable and DDR5 or current AM5 components may not be available. Costco tends to focus on complete systems, so it probably won’t help much for upgrading an existing build. In practice, watching price trackers and comparing Amazon, Scan, Overclockers, and CCL is likely to give you the best chance of staying near budget.
From what I’ve found, Amazon seems to be the cheapest option right now, although I’m a little wary of buying expensive PC parts there. I may just wait and hope the Micro Center pricing is still good later in the year.
