I'm specifically looking for a 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler with a customizable LCD screen. I considered a Thermalright model, but its screen requires a dedicated app to be running before it will display uploaded images or videos. I'd rather upload a GIF or video once and have it appear automatically whenever the PC starts. The Kraken 240 Plus sounds like it supports that behavior based on reviews, but I'm hesitant about choosing NZXT and would like to know if there are quieter or more reliable alternatives.

A lot of reputable AIO designs come from Asetek, including models sold by NZXT and Noctua. That can make the underlying pump platform fairly similar, so the biggest differences may be the radiator, fans, software, screen, and warranty rather than the basic pump design.
The Kraken 240 Plus is one of the options that appears to support saving the display configuration so the animation comes back at startup without needing the app open every time. If that behavior is your priority, it may be the safer choice, although NZXT’s software and overall reliability are worth researching before buying.

Keep in mind that the Noctua option mentioned here doesn’t include a screen, so it wouldn’t meet the main requirement even if its cooling platform is related.
