I'm building a PC in a Zalman case and need to connect the two-pin female LED SW cable. I initially used the motherboard's JRAINBOW connector for the CPU fan lighting, but the board also has a four-pin JRGB1 header, which doesn't match the two-pin plug. Where should the LED SW cable be connected on an MSI B460M PRO-VDH WIFI?

The LED SW cable usually isn’t an RGB power or data connection. It connects to the reset-switch pins on the motherboard’s front-panel header, labeled JFP1 on this board. That lets the case’s reset button cycle through the lighting modes instead of resetting the computer. Don’t plug the two-pin cable into JRGB1 or JRAINBOW.
Exactly. If you’d rather keep the reset button functioning normally, you can leave the LED SW cable disconnected and control the lighting through the motherboard software or BIOS, assuming the ARGB cable is connected to the correct three-pin JRAINBOW header. The four-pin JRGB1 header is for 12V RGB devices and isn’t the right fit for this two-pin switch cable.
So it replaces the normal reset-switch connection, and I can use the button to change the lighting effects?
