I'm planning a gaming PC built around a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and I'm deciding between an RTX 5060 Ti with 8GB of VRAM, an RTX 5070, and an RX 9070 XT. The RTX 5070 is slightly above my budget. I mainly play Fortnite, Warzone, Rainbow Six Siege, and similar games. Which card offers the best balance of performance, longevity, and value?

I’d choose the RX 9070 XT unless its price is a problem. It has considerably more performance headroom than the RTX 5060 Ti and should be a better long-term choice for gaming. Your target resolution and graphics settings still matter, though—competitive games such as Fortnite and Rainbow Six Siege are generally less demanding than modern AAA releases.
Of these choices, the RX 9070 XT is the strongest option if it fits your budget. It should deliver excellent high-refresh-rate performance at 1080p and solid results at 1440p. The RTX 5060 Ti’s 8GB of VRAM is comparatively limiting, especially for newer games. If you plan to play demanding AAA titles and want features like DLSS, the RTX 5070 is also worth considering, but it may not offer enough extra value if it requires stretching your budget.
The RTX 5070 is also a perfectly capable pairing with the 7800X3D. It should run games like PUBG and Apex smoothly, and its upscaling and ray-tracing features may be useful in more demanding titles. Still, if the RX 9070 XT is affordable, it generally makes more sense for raw gaming performance.
You may be able to save money by choosing a slightly less expensive processor, such as a Ryzen 5 7600X3D, Ryzen 5 7600, or Ryzen 5 9600X. For the games you listed, moving down from the 7800X3D may not cause a noticeable difference if the savings let you buy the better graphics card.
