Why Are So Many PC Parts Missing or Showing No Prices Right Now?

I was checking parts on PCPartPicker and noticed that many Thermalright CPU coolers had suddenly disappeared from normal U.S. retailer listings. They're still easy to find by searching Amazon or Newegg directly, so it doesn't seem like a real shortage. Looking further, I also found other products missing or lacking prices, especially CPU coolers and cases. Most other categories seem relatively normal. Is there a current data-feed or retailer integration problem affecting the site?

This is probably a temporary data problem rather than an overnight hardware shortage. Amazon listings in particular seem to be missing across multiple categories, including processors and motherboards, which points to a broken or incomplete API connection between the retailer and the comparison site.

The site has always missed some products because retailers use multiple listings, especially for Thermalright gear. It’s useful for checking compatibility and getting a general price range, but it isn’t a complete catalog. Right now, though, the unusually small number of listed prices suggests something is currently wrong with one of the retailer feeds.

Thermalright has always been somewhat inconsistent on price-comparison sites because it uses several official Amazon sellers. Those sellers often create separate product pages instead of listing against one shared item, and the site’s scraper may only track one of them. Thermalright Direct also appears to be shifting listings to another official storefront, so that could explain many missing coolers. You can often find the products by searching Amazon or Newegg manually.

It seems broader than Thermalright, though. Several readily available CPUs and motherboards also have missing Amazon prices, which makes an issue with the retailer data feed seem likely.
