Everything was working normally yesterday: I was playing games on my PS5 and watching YouTube, while our iPhones also had no problems. Later that night, my modded New Nintendo 3DS XL suddenly could not find or use the internet. A few hours afterward, the PS5 became extremely slow online, and today both consoles either refuse to connect to Wi-Fi or keep losing the connection.
The strange part is that our iPhones still work normally, and even an older PS3 connects without any trouble. Nothing obvious changed with the internet setup. What could cause only the PS5 and New 3DS XL to have the same connection problem, and what should I try to fix it?

The fact that phones and the PS3 still work does not completely rule out the router. Different devices can use different Wi-Fi bands or security settings, so a router problem can affect newer devices while older ones remain connected. Check the router's Wi-Fi settings and, if necessary, reset the wireless setup and reconnect each device. Make sure you know the network name and password before resetting anything.
Safe mode on the PS5 is mainly useful for troubleshooting system and database issues, but it is probably not the first thing to try here. Forgetting and re-adding the network, testing with a cable, and restarting or reconfiguring the router are more directly related to this kind of Wi-Fi problem. Your provider is TalkTalk, so its app or support tools may also show whether there is a local service or router issue.
Since restarting the devices did not help, try restarting the router as well. On the PS5, open the network settings, remove or forget the saved Wi-Fi network, and then connect to it again from scratch. If possible, connect the PS5 with an Ethernet cable temporarily; that can help confirm whether the issue is limited to Wi-Fi.

We have already powered things off and on, but I did not know about the PS5's safe mode or trying a wired connection.
