The app icons themselves look normal, but the interfaces inside apps such as Brave, Google, and Discord appear much too large and cluttered. My display resolution is set to 1080p and text zoom is at 100%, so I'm not sure what setting is causing the oversized menus and controls. How can I make the app interfaces smaller?

If this is happening in a browser, press Ctrl+0 to reset the page zoom to its default level. You can also check the browser’s zoom setting in its menu. Keep in mind that this only changes webpage content, not necessarily the browser’s buttons or the interface of other apps.
Since the resolution and text size are already set correctly, check the system display scaling percentage as well. A scaling value above 100% can make app controls and menus look oversized even when text zoom says 100%. Some apps also have separate UI scaling or accessibility settings, so those may need to be reduced individually.

That shortcut resets the webpage itself, but the issue may be the app interface rather than the page content. For Discord or other desktop apps, check Windows display scaling and the app’s own appearance or zoom settings.
