I'm using an iPhone 15 on iOS 26.5. My Wi‑Fi works normally on all my other devices, and web browsers work on the iPhone, but certain apps—such as YouTube—never load when I'm connected to Wi‑Fi. I've already checked my DNS settings and removed anything related to VPNs. I don't use an ad blocker or proxy either. What else could cause Wi‑Fi to work selectively between apps?

Since browsers work but apps like YouTube don’t, the issue may be specific to the network settings those apps use rather than the Wi‑Fi connection itself. Try forgetting the Wi‑Fi network and joining it again, then restart both the iPhone and router. If that doesn’t help, reset the iPhone’s network settings—just be aware that this removes saved Wi‑Fi passwords and other network configurations.
Check whether those affected apps are allowed to use cellular data under Settings > Cellular. Also look at Settings > General > Background App Refresh and make sure the apps aren’t restricted. If only one or two apps are affected after that, updating or reinstalling them may clear a corrupted app connection setting.
