Whenever I try to open Chrome, a Bing page appears automatically. I already removed Bing as a default search engine, so I'm not sure why it keeps opening. How can I stop this and make Chrome open a new tab or a different homepage instead?

It’s also possible that Chrome imported startup settings from Microsoft Edge during setup. In Chrome, go to Settings and review both On startup and the Homepage section. Set them to the new-tab page or your preferred site instead of Bing.
Bing may be set as Chrome’s startup page rather than the default search engine. Open Chrome’s three-dot menu, go to Settings, then choose On startup. Select “Open the New Tab page,” or choose “Open a specific page” and enter the page you want. You can also check the Homepage setting and remove the Bing address there.

That makes sense—thanks! I’ll check the startup and homepage settings.
